Uniview Bullet Cameras

Univew IP Bullet Cameras from CCTVdirect are among the most advanced bullet CCTV cameras available. Each bullet camera we offer is equipped with high-end technology to ensure your home or business is fully protected day and night.

Bullet CCTV Cameras

Bullet cameras are the original, and perhaps most recognisable CCTV cameras on the market. This means they not only provide high-quality surveillance but also act as a deterrent against intrusion, theft, and wrongdoing.

The shape of a bullet camera also allows the use of larger lenses and more varied technologies than can be fitted within the smaller casing of a dome or turret model of camera. This makes bullet cameras particularly suited to monitoring larger areas, such as yards, warehouses, gardens, and parking lots.

Uniview IP Bullet Cameras

Here at CCTVdirect, we source our bullet cameras from Uniview, one of the world’s leading suppliers of CCTV cameras. Uniview IP bullet cameras are compact, elegantly designed, and equipped with state-of-the-art surveillance technology.

Bullet CCTV Cameras: Features and Benefits

Our IP bullet cameras boast a host of superb features and benefits. Each one has unique, sophisticated technological attributes, which makes our range of bullet cameras suitable for a wide variety of situations.

For starters, almost all of our bullet CCTV cameras come equipped with Uniview AI Smart Analytics technology that sends movement alerts to your smart device. This cutting edge surveillance technology can detect motor vehicle activity, non-motor vehicle activity, and pedestrian activity, while ignoring irrelevant motion. They also include Smart Infrared technology, which prevents overexposure and provides crystal clear night vision.

Our bullet cameras are extremely durable as each camera is encased in an IP66 or IP67 protective metal casing. This ensures our bullet cameras can continue to provide high-end surveillance whatever the weather.

Additionally, Uniview IP bullet cameras are easy to install. Every camera comes with an installation template that allows you to install the camera quickly and easily. What is more, since every bullet camera is fitted with plug and play technology, our bullet cameras can be easily connected to any Uniview Network Video Recorder (NVR).

Our Uniview IP bullet CCTV cameras outperform other bullet cameras on almost all fronts. They are suitable for residential environments, small businesses, and large commercial or public properties.

Bullet Cameras FAQ

1.        What is the difference between dome and bullet cameras?

Dome cameras are placed in a dome-shaped protective casing while bullet cameras are typically larger and set within an oblong case. For this reason, dome cameras are more discreet and harder to tamper with, while bullet cameras are more imposing, work better as a deterrent, and can monitor a larger area.

Another key difference between dome cameras and bullet cameras is the night vision setup: in a dome camera the infrared and the lens are not separate, which under some circumstance can result in a lower quality night vision image.

2.        Are bullet or dome cameras better?

Both bullet and dome cameras have their own advantages and disadvantages. Whether you choose a dome or a bullet camera depends on what you want do with it. If the camera is easily accessible then it would be wise to choose a dome camera as they are more resistant to vandalism and tampering. If you need to surveil a large area then a bullet camera is better because they have are capable of having a longer range. Bullet cameras are also less discreet than dome cameras, which can be an advantage if you want your cameras to also serve as a deterrent.
