The ALERTEX Wireless Call-Point is a battery-powered, wireless emergency call-point that integrates with the ALERTEX Wireless Alert system. When the call button is pressed, the alarm transmission is sent to all ALERTEX units on the same site that are within range, up to 500m. Each ALERTEX unit can then ‘hop’ the transmission up to 16 times between units using the secure ALERTEX wireless mesh protocol, giving the ALERTEX system a maximum range of up to 16km. The unit is powered by a 3-volt lithium battery and boasts a battery life of up to 4 years. As the unit is fully wireless, it may be relocated easily or installed in difficult locations where wiring would be costly to run. The ALERTEX system can be enhanced using the ALERTEX IP hub, which allows the system to be monitored and controlled from one central location. Email alerts can be sent from the ALERTEX PC application to send notifications of activations and low battery alerts to 3 separate email groups.
