CCTV Cable From CCTVdirect

Whether you're looking for CAT5e for a PoE IP system, a reel of COAX or simply some HDMI cables to hook up your monitors, we've got every type of cable you could possibly need to get your CCTV system up and running.

Quality CCTV Cable Only

At CCTVdirect we only offer the best quality cable which is why our VueNet CCTV Cable range comes with a lifetime warranty. A great choice for any install their premium cable is second to none.

CCTV Patch Leads

Need some patch leads and don't have time to make them yourself? We've got you covered there too, if your looking for a simple 1m RJ45 or BNC to BNC's we've got whatever you need.

Why Does Using Quality CCTV Cable Matter?

The most time consuming part of any install is running cable, and a lesser product may save a couple of pounds, but the man hours of having to replace it in a few years is going to more than eclipse the extra £10 to £20 spent on a quality product. Beyond that Solid Copper Core cable works infinitely better than the plated variety, so even if the wiring does last it won't hold a candle to a high quality CCTV cable from day one. Whilst it is one of the cheaper parts of any install (even for the premium products) it's often something that installers and DiYer's alike cheap out on. This is often something that they come to regret within a year when the cable breaks down.

What are the most Common CCTV Cables?

The most commonly purchased CCTV cables are CAT5e and RG59 with Shotgun Power, the former used for IP camera set ups and the latter used for the traditional Coaxial CCTV Systems. There are alternatives to CAT5e, for example CAT 6 Cable, but outside of special use cases these cables are typically unnecessary.
