Uniview IP turret cameras from CCTVdirect are market leaders in every respect. Equipped with high-end surveillance technology, our turret CCTV cameras outperform the competition both day and night. With smart technology features, including crystal clear night vision and motion detection, our range of turret cameras will keep your home or business safe 24 hours a day.

Turret cameras have become increasingly popular for use in a wide variety of situations. They are often chosen over dome cameras because the lack of protective casing around the turret camera results in clearer night vision images and clearer images during certain types of weather.

Bullet cameras are large, bulky and obvious to intruders, turrets are small and discreet. Unlike with dome cameras, it is obvious which direction a turret camera is facing - this can be useful for situations where you want people to be aware they are being observed.

On top of the advantages provided by the lack of protective casing on image quality, on turret cameras the infrared and the lens are separate, meaning there is no danger of IR bleed, which is where the infrared leaks into the lens and reduces the quality of the image.

Our range of technologically sophisticated IP turret cameras are sourced from Uniview, one of the world’s leading suppliers of turret CCTV cameras. Uniview turret cameras offer unbeatable surveillance capabilities with high-resolution lenses, state-of-the-art infrared technology, smart features, easy installation, and straightforward scaleability, delivered within an elegantly designed casing that ensures complete protection for your home or business day and night.

Our IP turret cameras offer an assortment of high-end features including cutting edge AI Smart Analytics. With Smart Analytics your turret camera can detect and report a variety of activities occurring on your premises. The camera can identify the difference between motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles, and pedestrians, while ignoring unimportant movement, such as dogs, foxes, and falling leaves. Other cameras in our IP turret camera range feature facial and human body detection, along with intrusion and line-crossing detection.

With these smart features equipped, our turret CCTV cameras can send alerts directly to your smart device, keeping you up-to-date about all the relevant activity occurring in view of your turret camera. And with superb night vision thanks to Smart IR and Uniview ColourHunter technology, you won’t miss a thing.

All our turret cameras are suitable for inside and outside use. Each one comes encased in a durable, weatherproof IP67 metal housing and can, therefore, withstand almost any weather conditions.

What is more, Uniview turret CCTV cameras are simple to install and, with Plug and Play technology, can easily be connected to any Uniview Network Video Recorder (NVR). Our IP turret cameras are equipped with PoE (Power over Ethernet), meaning no extra power cable is required, making installation even easier.

Our turret cameras outperform the competition in every respect, and they are suitable for use in a variety of environments, including at home, on small businesses premises, and in large private or public buildings.

1. What is the difference between a turret and a dome camera?

Turret CCTV cameras, unlike a dome camera, do not have a protective casing surrounding the camera. This is both an advantage and a disadvantage. On the one hand, the lack of protective casing leaves the turret camera vulnerable to tampering, while on the other, it allows for clearer images, particularly at night and during bad weather.

2. Can a turret camera be angled down?

Yes, turret cameras have a wide range of movement allowing them to face in almost any direction.

3. Can a turret camera be wall-mounted?

A turret camera can be mounted on a wall or a ceiling. Our Uniview IP turret cameras come with an installation template, making it easy to place your camera wherever it needs to be.
